Shortly after submission of his form, Dr Wellington was received by the PDP National Secretary, Sen. Sam Anyawu and PDP National Women Leader, Prof Stella Effah-Atoe, who both gladly welcomed him to the race.

Sen Sam Anyawu, National Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), expressed delight at the arrival of a vibrant young man who has done exceptionally well in the oil and gas sector and believes he can replicate that success in Akwa Ibom State if voted into power.
